Kids 8 and up wade into the Great South Bay shallows to net and identify marine life with a park naturalist. Robert Moses Field 2 has easy bay access, and the $4 fee covers about 90 minutes of instruction. Bring water shoes and a hat—there's not much shade once you're out on the flats.
