Open Mic Night w/ General George @ Nautilus Roasting + 9 more picks.
The 60 Seconds
60 Seconds
October arrives with a packed weekend that splits three ways: live music, singles mingles, and actual family time. Coffee shop open mics and Kompa night offer low-key hangs, while the real story is the aggressive singles scene—zip-lining, pub crawls, and country western dancing all promise to cure your dating app fatigue. Families have options too: a murder mystery crawl in Huntington Village, pollinator gardening at Jones Beach, and Hispanic Heritage Day in Bay Shore. Weather’s playing coy for now, but with this many indoor/outdoor combos, you’re covered either way. October’s here—act accordingly.
