Your Weekend: October 22–25
Halloween’s creeping in early—Spooky Skeletons stalks Connetquot River, a murder mystery pub crawl haunts Huntington, and costumed pups hit Sand City’s Halloween Pup Crawl. Not ready for ghouls? Northport’s serving up cavatelli workshops and doormat painting, while Mattituck’s garden lecture proves fall’s got beauty beyond pumpkin spice. The social scene’s equally packed: speed dating in Hauppauge, Kompa at Prime on the Mile, and craft beer flows at SquareHead’s SecretSeshLI.
Weather’s playing coy (check Saturday/Sunday closer to the weekend), but with this lineup spanning family fun to foodie deep-dives, you’ve got indoor and outdoor options covered.
The Editor’s Pick
Big Brother @ PMLIB — The library’s running a Halloween-themed competition based on Big Brother, where kids try to avoid getting voted out of the house. Free to play, and it’s right on East Main Street in downtown Patchogue if you want to grab lunch before or after.
